About the Institute
The Atlanta TMD Institute was founded in 2018 by Dr. Mark Allan Padolsky. The Institute’s three primary purposes are:
1. to provide Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) education to health care professionals, including dentists, physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors and others.
2. to advance knowledge in the area of Temporomandibular Disorders with the aim of improving treatment success
3. to excellently care for TMD patients who suffer with this disorder, especially advanced more complicated cases
The Atlanta TMD Institute’s approach to caring for Temporomandibular Disorders is to strengthen the patient’s whole body and to create the environment for injured structures to heal. We deeply believe that if the body is given the right conditions, it will heal. Some say that this is a holistic approach but we prefer to call it a biological approach. Treatment is based on restoring the natural anatomy, form and function, of the patient.
Because we believe the body functions as a whole, patient are treated with a multidisciplinary approach using other health care professionals when appropriate.
The Institute sees patients from all around the United States, so if you are travelling a significant distance, please call for additional information.
